I can't even look at the links to the games, since I haven't installed itunes. And I never will. I have an mp3-player, and I can send and pull stuff from it w/o the use of such external software. I've been in an AppleStore, and had a look at the ipod(s) and the iphone, but the handling of those was in my opinion counterintuitive. When I tried to switch to a different piece of mp3, I selected it and I pressed play, it restarted the track which was already running (and I can tell the difference between Queens "We will rock you" and "Fat bottomed girls"). When i tried "enter" instead of play, it restarted the current track, when I tried "next track", it restarted the current track,....
So, either s.o. has messed with the settings of these ipods, which i could not be bothered to check, or they really are s.th. to get used to in handling. Nope, all other MP3 players I tested did what I expected them to do, just not the IPods, IPodshuffles, Ipodtouchs, Ipodnanos. And the iphone had too much this and that to be easy to use as phone. I don't need more than a phone, so everything extra can be one step away, and it should be, due to the way these things are handled by me (I just stuff anything mobile unceremonously in my pocket, caused be to send quite some SMS unwillingly during my study time, although my Nokia had a key lock. After a few hours of bumping against the machine when you're knee deep in dirt, you will have hit the necessary key-combo to deactivate it.).
Apple Macintoshs are fine, they just got a little less good since the intelarchitecture, but the price and OS makes up for that. Still returned to PC, though. Just more to tweak towards optimum performance.
What's your experience with apple-products (except for stomach pain because you ate too many sour apples)?
